Morse Tree
Privacy Policy
Last updated: 2026-05-01
Summary
Morse Tree is a local-only learning app. It does not collect, transmit, or share any personal information. Everything you do in the app, including keying letters, picking answers, and changing settings, stays on your device.
What We Do Not Collect
- We do not collect names, email addresses, phone numbers, IDs, or any account information.
- We do not collect device identifiers, advertising IDs, IP addresses, or location data.
- We do not collect crash reports or analytics by default. The app has no third-party analytics SDKs.
- We do not have user accounts and we do not connect to any of our servers in the course of normal use.
What Stays on Your Device
The app stores your local settings, such as words-per-minute, tone frequency, haptics on/off, and a flag for whether you have completed onboarding. This data is held in the app's private storage and is removed when you uninstall the app.
Network Access
The app does not initiate any outbound network requests during normal use. The two exceptions are entirely user-initiated:
- Tapping the "acik.in" button on the About screen opens our website in your default browser.
- Tapping "support@acik.in" on the About screen opens your default email client.
In both cases the relevant browser or mail app, not Morse Tree, is what makes the network connection.
Permissions
Morse Tree requests no runtime permissions. It uses the Android vibration API for haptic feedback, which does not require a runtime permission grant on supported devices, and audio output. It does not use microphone access.
Children
Morse Tree is suitable for all ages. Because the app collects no data, there is nothing to disclose under COPPA or comparable child-data regulations.
